Green Oak Beams

Green Oak BeamsOur garages and outbuildings are made from structurally graded green oak, typically with a traditional sawn finish although a planed finish can be applied for a more refined effect if desired. |

Air-Dried Oak Beams

Air-Dried Oak BeamsWe use structurally graded air-dried planed oak beams for our orangeries, sun rooms and glazed porches. Using air-dried oak reduces movement, splitting and twisting of the beams and the planed finish gives the oak a smoother, warmer finish. |

Oak Cladding

Oak CladdingAll of our oak weatherboard is cut to order in our workshop from QP1 grade green oak boards. Oak has been applied to houses, barns and garden buildings alike for centuries and is naturally hard wearing and durable. Left untreated, the oak will soften in tone and silver over time. |

Green Oak Beams
|
Larch CladdingOur larch is grown and sawn in Britain, it is naturally resistant to rot and insect attack which makes it excellent for exterior use. It has a medium grain and an orange hue that will silver as it weathers. We can also offer cedar, Siberian larch, or black painted weatherboard - traditional in some parts of the UK but also a perfect choice for more contemporary structures. |

Clay Roof Tiles
We source new handmade clay tiles made in a range of heritage colours from a company based less than 30 miles from our workshop. They provide a traditional look with the advantage of consistency in colour and size throughout the tiles. |

Slate Tiles

Slate Roof TilesSlate tiles are traditional to certain regions in the UK and suit both modern and traditional style oak buildings. They are suitable for use on roofs with a shallow pitch. |

Other Roof Coverings

Other Roof CoveringsWe believe that using the right roof covering for your project can enhance your frame and the space it provides, as well as helping it to blend in to the surroundings. We can also supply other roof coverings and glazing, for example – galvanized roof sheets, cedar shingles and lanterns and glazed roof sections. |

Guttering
|
GutteringWe can offer a range of powder coated aluminium guttering in a variety of colours and styles. The heritage colours work well with a traditional building but the guttering can be powder coated in any RAL colour. Powder coating is beneficial because it requires next to no maintenance and has a long lifespan. We also offer steel guttering in a galvanized or black painted finish, which can complement certain style buildings and has a contemporary look. |

Bricks

BricksWe use heritage style bricks for all of our bases and building work. These come in a variety of styles to match the existing property or customer’s preference. We can supply standard width bricks or a custom 150mm wide brick that is made exclusively for Miller Supply + Build. Benefits of using custom width bricks: Less fitting time, Fewer ancillary materials are required, The frame fits flush with the internal face of the brickwork resulting in more interior floor space. |
Commitment to sustainability
Our oak is sourced from sustainable PEFC certified sawmills in France, that are committed to sustainable forestry management practices. We use high quality structurally graded oak that has been graded by qualified assessors.
